My new to me 64 Polara

VERY nice Mike, congratulations on your new toy! I really like the silver, you don’t see many in that color. I honestly don’t mind the chrome exhaust tips, but yeah I would definitely change that master cylinder even though its new and just save it as a spare.

I think it's gold.

Reminds me of mine right down to the crooked bumper lol. That's actually a spare hood that I cut for the scoop.. mines not quite as refined or a 500.

GOOD DECISION NICE CAR

Don't tell me you got rid of the 66 Dart ? I liked that car..
Anyway welcome to the world of early "B's" It won't be long you will be looking for a 4 bbl intake.
It sure made a difference when I had my 64 Poly.
I haven't sold it yet but it will be up for sale. Interesting you mention a 4 barrel intake. I have a nice Weiand already that came with the car. I also have a 650 AVS2 waiting in the wings for it.

It is kind of a pewter color. I was cleaning out all the spare parts today and in one of the boxes was a pint of paint from NAPA with the formula on it. That will come in handy if I decide to repaint the topsides that are sun faded.

It's hard to see the code on the tag is it WW ?
I think mine is ZZ1 anniversary gold

It's fun to look back at my first post and I can honestly say I now own a 64 Polara 500. It's a Arizona car, real solid with many new parts. Hey, the clock even works. LOL I started a thread officially introducing it to the group. My new to me 64 Polara

Looks like a WW1 last line on your fender tag?

Love the early Bs. Congratulations on your purchase. A set of headers and a four barrel, a little distributor work will really wake up that 318.

That's a mighty sharp looking car!

It looks like someone has put Polara interior door cards and rear interior panels on the car. The Polara 500 pieces had additional trim on them. The cards in the trunk are Polara 500, with chrome mylar inserts in arm rest area, and contrasting colour trim.

Yes, I noticed that when I cleaned out the trunk. What's on there now is ok but I can always keep my eye open for the 500 cards. They are fancier than the cards that are on the car now.
