Good point. Liiks more like a door latch. Hard to believe they were vacuum.

What year and model had this option ? I have never seen it !

I have both an electric and a vacuum Mopar trunk latches and they are nothing like that so I can tell you what it isn't.
I don't really think that it is anything for 1962-74 Mopar except maybe a tail gate latch for like a Chrysler TC wagon, maybe?
Actually looks more Ford than Mopar to me.
