I have a bracket that i found, laying loose in the trunk. Does anyone have any idea where it may go?there is a shade of body color overspray, and may have been black.

So, what I suspected is correct, i have the wrong grille in the car.
Is the mesh behind the Satellite grille??? This is the Grille that your car is supposed to have.

Probably is all being held in place by the headlight bezels [outer pieces of the grill]. Take care with the black honey cone mesh grill. 72 RR only and quite pricy.
At least you have that piece.. Hopefully it's not butchered up from it being behind the wrong grille...
