Name something that you never should have bought.

A snowmobile for my wife. She used it once, just too cold, and she does not have the "need for speed"...

Bought a brand new chevy truck in 79. It was a c20 camper special with a 350 auto. What a POS, burnt oil like crazy, cab was loose. Sold it in 80 with 20k miles never missed it.
Did I learn my lesson about gm trucks...nope
Bought a k10 blazer new in 81 Silverado edition.
Cam wiped at about 50k differential bearings and side gears shortly after that. Among other stuff the whole time.
I would never own another gm product...ever

A 1981 lemans wagon.
Boy was that a mistake.
I didn't pay much for it but it sure was a lot of trouble.
Never had a GM since.

Probably a bunch of little stuff I don’t remember…..but the 1990 Jeep Wrangler I bought brand new was absolute junk. Not a month went by without a tow truck as a necessary accessory. Had it for 18 months and Chrysler bought it back under lemon law.

Where and how were you using it in AZ ? I had a 2000 XJ, Loved it ! 20 years of Buffalo winter cancer took it. Still ran great...

oh boy,
I had the extreme misfortune of buying a 1975 GL1000 Honda motorcycle. 8,000 miles and the clutch went out, then the rear differential, then hard starting below 60 degrees. this was 1977..

and, to make matters worse, I was 25 and was stupid enough before it all went bad to ask my brother for advice regarding a trade offer.1978, the guy offered an M1 copper 68 charger floor console car and a 750 ss super sport for the bike. My brother was a gold wing guy, and said that charger won't ever be worth much.
To this day, I am 70 and he is 80. I am still get pissed at him whenever I think about it.
Now today I am lucky enough to own two 68's, but After that episode I quit asking him for advice on ANYTHING!

1979 Corvette, Polaris 700RMK, I could go on. I'd really like to just forget though.

I could go back and tell you about a few stock trades - some accidental - and some just plain bad trades. I'll briefly describe one. I was arbitraging - circling a couple of companies that were a pubic hair away from complete bankruptcy. If you make The right pick you cam make a few bucks. The tow on my radar screen were Wang Computers the other a little known company called Apple Computers. After much thought and surveying thrm both - I'll give you one guess which one I chose.

Wang was going to be my goldmine. Bought a couple thousand shares. The rest you can figure out for yourself. If there was any minuscule saving grace - I did wind up breaking even on the Wang purchase. But if I'd pushed the other button ........yeah
