That's fuckin' awesome!!!!!!!!!

“We have known for a long time that the Nazis had sent some of their U-boats in the St-Lawrence River, but this is the first proof that they actually reached the Great Lakes,” Professor Carpenter told reporters. “This could explain the mysterious ship disappearances that took place in the region in 1943, and the reported “Battle of Niagara Falls” which had always been dismissed as a collective hallucination caused by fear.”

I thought hallucinations were caused by acid!!? Seems like any time citizens suspect something, the gooberment denounces it as....well, use your own hallucination for that one....

That's fuckin' awesome!!!!!!!!!
Awesome find but not so awesome that the Rads were able to do that without being detected....at least not detected by the military.

I laughed when I saw this as anyone who knows subs knows this is not a Nazi uboat. :)

It did look different from what I've seen in the past but I don't know subs much at all. Got duped lol

I sent this to my wife. As usual. she found the comments the most enjoying.

I guess the hunt for Red October ended in the great lakes ?

How many have read, seen or both, 'das Boot'....in ******* tense ****! 40K kids went to sea im the 'Wolf Packs'...only 10k made it home. I believe das boot is a fictional accounting, compiled in reality.....when They were 'dead' at the bottom of the Strait of Gibralter, i was sweating while reading....if One see's the movie, see the subtitled director's cut....it wont dissapoint........i thought U-571 w/ McConnehagh, Bon Jovi was a good movie, the premise fakin a U-boat with an American S-class to go after a dead U-boat carrying 'enigma'

`Das Boot` ...been awhile, I`ll have to watch that one again. Yes it`s fiction, but the author was a war correspondent who spent some time on German subs and other marine craft so he knew what he was writing about.

At first I fell for it but was also wondering how I missed such an event, since Lake Ontario is a stones throw away from me and our local news stations would have surely announced such a find.
