Need convertible top help... 69 RR

Does anyone know how the cables run along the top of the sides of the conv top??? The parts and service manual do not show where they run. On top, within the side pieces?? I know where they start and end. A picture would be great. Thanks in advance.

The cables run through the fabric at the sides there is a tunnel sewn into the top. The cables actually hold the top above the side glass.

Yes they will be used during the soft top installation process.
