264 degrees duration, .450" lift, 108 degrees lobe centres (separation), 222 degrees duration at .050" lift. Pretty tame RV. camshaft. Pretty close to factory camshaft used in 383 4 Barrel engines (non-RoadRunner).

Is there any way to find out if I have a NEW/never used cam shaft ????

What would you estimate the value $$ of this camshaft ????

A new cam will likely have a black/dark gray anti wear coating on the cam lobes. That coating wears off after a few miles.

I would say the cam is a good street grind. I have used a cam grind similar to that lift and duration in dirt track street stock engines that require a .450 max lift. Both in à 318 and small block Oldsmobile.

The 108 lobe center is what will limit that cam on the street as a wider LC like a 112 will spread out the power band. It's usable for sure but is more for performance.

Let the beatings begin.

Thanks for the help (it does have the coating on the lobes)

Is it a hydraulic, or solid lifter cam?

If it’s not a solid, those numbers suggest that maybe the advertised numbers were measured at 0.008” lobe lift. And if so, it will have a noticeable idle.

Solid Lifters

What is the recommended lash setting?

That's lash question way beyond my pay grade ......

You or your buyer kinda need the manufacturer’s recommended lash setting.

Do you know who the cam manufacturer is, and an approximate date of manufacture? Old cams tend to have looser lash settings, newer cams tighter.
