Hi All,

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. I have been fighting with the passenger side rear rollup quarter window on our '69 Bee, trying to get it fully adjusted. So far, I've been able to adjust all of the directions back forth, up down, and the up/down stops. however, I need to tip out the top front corner of the glass. I have adjusted the side to side movement with that lower nut as far inward as it will go but I need about 1/4 inch more.. maybe a tad more. The rollers all look to be in decent shape and they all roll. Is there another, specific, adjuster bolt that I might be missing which will tip out the top front corner? I can get the rear of the glass to line up with the weatherstripping but the front upper corner is giving me NO love. When I pull inward on the middle of the regulator, it will line up pretty well but I suppose I should not remove the regulator and step on it in frustration :BangHead:. Any pictures would be super helpful too, if possible. And I can post pics if need be.

Thanks much,
Mikey.

Had the same problem on my '70 charger and I don't know if its same as '69 Bee, but I had to install the whole panel on the inside because it acts as a guide to the window. Sounds like the same problem I had. Hope this helps.

Do you have the bushing that the bolt gos threw the window? It gos inside the glass bolt hole and bolt gos threw that. That is what my 70 has.

Thanks all.

Ray, I’m not following when you say you had to install the panel on the inside. What panel is that? From what I’ve seen, the Chargers and Coronets are very similar if not the same, at least in that mechanism. I can DM you as well.

Dave, yessir. I have the bushings and they are in good shape.

I was trying to think of a way to possibly shim the front “in/out adjuster but not sure if that’s the best idea.

Thanks,
Mikey
