Need help with the cause

It was fine up until yesterday.
I'll post under WTB.
Just do not know why it just happened.
I can repair the fire wall one.
The bulkhead one has melted beyond repair.
In need of a new or used under the dash harness.
64 Fury.

Do they reproduce a bulkhead black for the early cars? If so, you can probably untape the dash harness and replace the cooked wires.
 
find out why they got cooked, find someone parting a car willing to pull it

I did fix the firewall one today.
Got under the dash and saw that the red and black wires must have had a bare wire brake and that's where they arched together.
I found a bulkhead in my stash so yes I will tomorrow cut and splice .

I looked through my old connectors etc, looks like I gifted the bulkhead units already.
