I have had numerous mopars over the years but not a super bee. I don't do paint and body but the rest of it I get along with. With the occasional brain buster.

Also, even though the car is complete and runs, it’s 50 years old. Just about everything will be in need of freshening.
If a project is what you are looking for, this car could be a good foundation.
If you are looking for a “turn key” driver type car, you may be better served with a car that has been mechanically gone through.

Looks to be an excellent driver and for a Super Bee, if the inspection checks out, the price is right. If it is located at their Charlotte location, I will gladly go inspect it for you. Call me if you need me to look at it.
Bought my Bee about 2 years ago,please go and look at it yourself. I had 2 people that have own many mopars and know there stuff. They did miss the little things on the car that I believe I would of seen. I do not regret buying my car but thats alot of money and you will only blame yourself. To much money to not buy a $500 ticket to look at it.

Looks like a fairly honest car and depending on your expectations it would take some major
coin to freshen it up mechanically and interior wise. They ought to put some air in the dang tires!

Well I'll say again I believe the price is pretty good. I looked through the pictures and read the description again. Sounds like documents prove history, and with a new gas tank somewhat is evidence of long term hibernation. It might not be turn key, but I don't see thousands of dollars needed to get there. I think you should start a dialog and see if they can scan documents for review. Depending if consignment you might have a few grand to get the price down. I've seen some pure junk with 30grand asking prices, and this car maybe far from perfect, but it ain't junk.

Well, IMO there is lots of good advice already offered to you on this car about issues seen in the photos. One thing that always bothers me is HOW can a fender tag get in that bad of shape without the inner fender showing similar condition? Nice rust hole thru the Dutchman panel on the passenger side, that can spell some hidden BIG trouble.
I'm very partial to Super Bee's so this is a bit tough for me to be fair on this car, I tend to over scrutinize all the issues, small and large. And there ARE many small issues visible and a few larger ones too. That interior needs a LOT of work to be nice. Flip side is the foundation MAY be solid other than that one area in particular that I mentioned. Of course I can't tell just what YOU want in a 'Bee, but to me, that car would be a MONEY PIT.
Someone already suggested that it was priced $10k too high, I would agree with that and would go further to say I personally wouldn't pay more than $15-20K for that car given what I see in the photos. The best advice several have already given you, is to inspect the car in person for yourself. And yes I agree, it is NOT a survivor car, at least to the definition that I know.

Well after reading Bill's comments above, I have to believe that I'm just to far out of the loop on current prices because I KNOW he looked at a lot of cars trying to find a good driver B body a few years ago and he should know what is a decent price these days. So DISREGARD my price opinion in my previous post.
The only thing I can disagree with Bill on is, I DO see several thousand in just the interior only.

I’d buy it sight unseen for 10k. Horn buttons are $150 for cryin out loud. Wrong exhaust? I’ve got wrong exhaust. Maybe it’s the local market or my love for 69’s that is clouding me. I just spent about 7800 between the efi and trans. None of those are visible appearance upgrades.
Aftermarket radiator & the engine compartment repaint screams of a quickie paint job. Check out the painted shock hardware, m/c backing plate, brake lines, etc.

And what's under that quickie paint job? The cosmetic stuff like the broken console etc. is no big deal although expensive. It can be replaced over time.
You need someone that knows what they are looking at to look VERY closely at this car. Is decklid lip swollen/gone?
What's under that vinyl top?Back window rot?? Dutchman panel is bad as seen in pic. Trunk looks to be rotted thru although one of the better trunks I have seen.
If you can live with the body just as it is and really love the car, I would add up all the things that you would replace down the road including motor/trans refresh and subtract that from the asking price.

Personally...I would not buy site unseen. Only you know what you can tolerate or have the appetite or skill level to repair. I have done it twice in my life, disappointed both times (one in the body work, the other in the engine build). I know this dealer, have been to the showroom here in Charlotte a few times, they simply represent the cars for what they are...so up to the buyer to interpret.
When the engine bay was painted the tops of the shocks, brake lines and brake back up plate were painted in the process. So it means a cheap repaint which brings in question the quality of the outside paint, so you would have to see what the outside finish looks like in person. The fender tag is really rusted, yet fender is nice...so I wonder how much filler is in the body. The interior is rough. The crack in the console is expensive to fix well, dash looks to need a rebuild. Tan parts are not easy to find and not cheap. Probably the easiest fix is the poor carpet.

Look at it this way on seeing the car...you would spend probably about a 1000.00 to book a flight to see it and spend a night in a basic hotel. You would spend a heck of a lot more in a mistake.
Maybe ask Streetside to send the car to one of their dealers closer to you like in Texas?

I can get there to look at it easy enough. But with the multiple things wrong that have been pointed out it would be a waste of my time. Based on their asking price I doubt I will get the deal required to make it a sensible buy.
Sorry that it won't work. 69 Bees in nice shape are hard to find. I had a copper colored one that I had for a while, they are great cars. Keep looking, one will pop up!
