Neutral safety switch leaking trans fluid

A few years ago I replaced the single contact neutral safety switch on my '64 push button Torqueflie because it was leaking trans fluid around the plastic insulator. I found the new switch on Ebay for a reasonable price so I replaced it. Now the new one is leaking the same way. Is there some way that this switch can be sealed or am I stuck replacing it again? Any of you guys with early TFs have this problem?
 
I had the same problem. Had a heck of a time tracing down that leak . I wasn't sure that was what the problem was until I installed a new one. I got mine from Brewers Performance, figuring they would have the best. Problem solved!.....................MO
 
I'm wondering if there is another application for the same switch that would work?

I haven't seen any other type of neutral safety switch used in these transmissions, but that doesn't mean that there's not something out there that would work. The only thing I have seen is a guy that pulled out the switch and plugged the hole and just went without. Doesn't seem very safe or very bright to go without the switch IMHO.
