Stressed out about finding a new doc
to renew some BP prescriptions, and
some desperately needed surgery on
my foot, I spent the majority of the
day searching for a PCP who
accepts Medicare as primary
insurance.
BP was 175/94. On the verge of
strokin' out.
As a walk in, finding care on the spot
is next to near impossible.
Fourth attempt netted a score and
after hearing my concerns, agreed
to see me right away.
As I was being escorted to a
treatment room, there was a young
lady holding her baby not too far
behind me, being escorted to the
treatment room next to mine.
With my back turned to the three
behind me, I heard the nurse say
"He's so cute".
Before mom could reply, I replied
where the nurse and mom could hear
me.
"Thank You!"
I'm an ugly old cuss, that is the
proverbial "rode hard and put away
wet" (please, no references to
sexual connotations).
It was good to hear the laughter,
that turned out to reduce the BP
by 20 points on the high end.
