New addition! 1974 satellite Sundance!

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement heater valve like this? This one is dripping. So I need it? Could I just run a coupler in the lines instead?

Hard to tell in the picture if this correct, but a quick search found this really expensive one. Rock Auto has them but they are out of stock. EBay pulled a lot of NOS search results, so try there too.

Found this one on eBay I may just buy. But to be honest the ac components are gone and the blower motor inside doesn’t work (haven’t chased it yet) so I don’t need it. Just need it not leaking so I’m thinking ball valve at this time. Leave it partially open to flow through the heater core and I should be good? ‍♂️ anyone know? Or have suggestions?

Does the heater cable work. If so my choice would be to be able to control it from inside the car. $53 isn’t a bad price for the convenience and it won’t look ghetto.

Just an FYI- I bought one of those "NOS" and it leaked.

Paid just a tad more than that a few years ago.

There is an internal seal that can go bad from sitting.

Here is what info I have on heater valves. One on the left is 73 and older, mopar #3441034. It does show a couple of extra numbers on the box to search for. Middle is 74 only # 3502721. Right is 75 and newer #3502714. They all will work for a 74 b body, just have different mount holes.

This will give you some different numbers to search for.

There is no cable there currently and the interior heat controls don’t work as the blower motor doesn’t turn on. I would absolutely like to have heat in the car so I’ll be figuring that out for sure. I would also prefer to be able to control it inside but if I buy a new one and it leaks idk what I’ll do
