The Big Brown Truck left a big 'ol box on my porch Friday from Phoenix Specialty Coatings. Excellent work and great customer relationship.

Looks great, the yellow and black really work well together. I got back a set of stock valve covers and an intake in hemi orange that she worked her magic on...can't believe how well she cleaned up the metal and how nice they came out.

She does awesome work!!

Oh wow, that Sunshine Yellow turned out to be a better match for your car than I expected! Thank you for the pics -- I'll DEFINITELY work some of that into my website -- and for the wonderful write ups as well. You've been a joy to work with and I look forward to the next time.

Thanks to all three of you for starting off my Monday morning with a smile!! I'm honored to have a hand in such fine rides. < curtsey >

Cleet, I forgot to ask if you had any troubles with those delicate wire harness retainers when you ran your wires. Did anything break off??

I didn't install them yet, a little stalled out on my project right now but the way you worked them, it shouldn't be a problem. I cant wait to get the next batch of parts out to you, and that intake you did looks like a piece of art...thanks again..

It was all my pleasure! :D I wish all of my guys treated me as well as you did.

Can't wait for my "Eye candy" to be done and installed on my engine. Again, Leanna is awesome!

Patience grasshopper :D ... I'm working on it. Just like great food, true Powder **** cannot be rushed. LOL!!! Thanks for the compliments guys!

"Grasshopper" is waiting patiently,"Master Po". Or should I say "Misses Po"? Not hurrying you in anyway Leanna. I'm one that's very patient on things. Heck, I've been patient on this car for 28 years. Ooops, I just didn't put a clue out how old I might be, did I? Do yo thang, Picaso.

No worries dear apprentice. :D I've had my Cuda for over 22 now ... so we'll keep each other's secrets and just claim to be old enough to know better, and still too young to resist.

I'm supposed to be taking today off but your PhotoBucket album is done -- you have a PM with the link and password. :D

Sometime later this summer, I want to do the same thing for my '67, but it'll be in bright blue - although I saw, of all things, a newer mini-van sporting an R/T emblem on the rear tailgate that was done in a medium to dark silver metallic - I thought that might look pretty good on the car with the black vinyl top and black interior - but I'll probably keep it the blue color - so we'll get together later on and powder coat an air cleaner lid and valve covers for mine as well!

That does look nice for sure! It looks like some skill to apply two colors and get it to have clear lines between the colors and no bleed thru. Nice!

I'll be looking forward to it! Hit me up if you'd like to check out some color swatches in the meantime.

Thank you Donny! Most of my labor on any job involves a lot of bodywork; I try to get your metal as close to perfect as possible before any powder goes on, and the better the bodywork is the cleaner the lines and color separations are. If you like those, you should check out MarPar's 6-color MPs some time ...

What was the turn-around time?
Why do I procrastinate?

I can help a bit with your first question super-bee, but the second one is all on you heh hehhh!! :D The turn around time on any job depends mainly on what's in line ahead of you. Most of my work is of the custom / one-off variety which always takes longer than say a big box of gloss black brackets would. I've had 15+ jobs here at any given time now for over 5 years straight, and that number is usually closer to 25 ... and right now it's over 30 since it's "that" time of the year. Though the average wait is longer than other powder coating shops (because I do everything myself and I'm painfully slow and **** about my work LOL), most of my guys don't seem to complain too much when their Powder **** finally arrives so I can only guess they think the wait was worth it.

I look forward to working with all of you when the time comes! Don't ever hesitate to hit me up if you want to go over details or have questions about anything -- it's what I'm here for. :D
