Hi all. I'm Shawn and I'm here for some friendly help. Looking to off load some classic Mopar stuff, mainly a Gen 2 HEMI block. Trying to figure out value. This stuff isn't easy. Thanks

Welcome from Hellinois, as for the value of the HEMI, its total garbage. I'll happily take it off your hands though, ill even pay you a 100, which is very generous :lol:

Welcome from Alabama, getting rid of things is all about condition. It's anything from a boat anchor to unknown $$$. More information!

Welcome from Southern California. A guy from either Sweden or Norway has a parts hunter here on the west coast and they bought a bunch of HEMI parts off me over the last couple of years. They offered me $2,000.00 for a 1966 Gen II block with no repairs or damage, no rust, I had it magged and checked and it passed with flying colors. I stuck it back in storage because I wanted more money. The bore is .020 with main caps. Give you an idea on the value of your block. If your block has a VIN on it, advertise it on a parts hunter website and you could find the original owner who'll hopefully pay you a profitable sum. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

Thanks. Super helpful

Make sure to read the forum rules 1st

then;
Maybe start a thread, in one of the appr. Mopar Marketplace classified sections
read the rules on posting parts
Or on a What's It Worth or a Wanted to Buy WTB threads
there's dedicated section/s on part or WIW stuff,
in the forum glossary/choice section page...

I'd also suggest;
if you are trying to sell something, post as many photos as possible of the item
& clear/detailed photos, of any scratches dents cracks etc.
more info the better,
not talking back & forth much in the classifieds
it's for selling & buying, not chit chat

I'm no Mod, but trying to help you
& maybe your sale, not get deleted 'for rules' violations

1 of the 1st forum rules is no sales in the Welcome Wagon forum section
it's for getting to know each other, & an introduction, sharing a few photos/stories etc.
not for finding or hawking parts

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Welcome! I’ll stick my neck out and say anywhere between $2500 and $6000 depending on a number of variables.
