I have a 66 Coronet 500 I have had for 5-years. Removed the 273 and dropped in a 440, 727 with Cheetah reverse valve body and 355 Yukon gears. Done all the work in my driveway while I was completing my garage. Drove the car for a few years and now have a snapped torsion bar. Plan to purchase all PST front end parts and the rebuild kit for the lower control arms. I plan to do all the work myself, so I am looking for tips on removing the lower control arm bolts, sequence of installation and what tools I will need to purchase. I am also going with the tubular control arms, 2" drop spindles and Wilwood disk conversion kit.

Will have to add photo later.

Welcome from Indiana... do yourself a favor and rebuild the upper control arms and buy tubular lowers from qa1, you'll thank me later.

Personally I feel your car is beyond repair. Just send me a PM with your GPS coordinates and I'll be there tomorrow with a trailer to take this burdensome money pit off your hands. :welcome:

Oh yeah, welcome!!

But I'll need pics before I come.
And there might be a few guys on here that you just can't take seriously.
