Welcome aboard from Ohio.( 52 yrs on mine )
Thanks. Love your car too. I bought my 70 coronet as a college graduation present to myself. One of the reasons is I loved the styling of the 68 and 69 models.
welcome to FBBO great looking coronet
Like that car. Welcome!
Cool car & story! That is awesome!
Thanks, For those that mentioned the whitewalls and for everyone that may be interested in such historical items, I have attached a copy of the original Buyers Order from when I ordered the car and a copy of the original window sticker. The wheels are the original (W23 Road wheels w/ Chrome Trim Ring) and the tires are new but identical to the original (T46 G78x14 WSW-Fiberglass) tires that came on the car. I have made it a point to keep it all original and resisted the temptation to make such improvements as disc brakes and better handling tires.
Does anyone know where I can get some detailed specifics on Production numbers for the 1970 Coronet convertibles? I know that mine was built in St. Louis and is one of 67 Coronet 500s with the 383 4 BBL Automatic but I would like know more. Such as how many (if any) were B5 Blue with White Interior, bucket seats etc. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill
I don't have specifics but welcome to the site!!
