I've been working on chevy's in the past. My current project is an off frame restoration of a 74 Corvette Stingray until....
two weeks ago when my son told me of a 73 Charger for $1,200. I phone someone for parts and after a short discussion was asked what my favorite car was. I replied a 71 Roadrunner. The guy told me he had one and a week later I was on my way to look at it. I brought my trailer just in case. Now I have to learn about Mopar and different part suppliers. My car is a project with motor and tranny out of it. I did get the build sheet with it. It had a 383 with a 4 speed standard. I have the tranny, the engine is being rebuilt as we speak. The rest is mine to do. The problem I'm dealing with is the lack of a bellhousing and the size of the flywheel. I'm doing this first as a motivator to see the engine and tranny waiting for the body.
Anyway, it should be fun, including building a rotisserie to work on the body.
