Newbie from IL, 66 Charger

Hello everyone!

Brett from DeKalb, IL here. It appears I am the new owner of GNXJohn's old 66 silver charger. I hope to have it on the road again by late May as a 440 console shift A-883. I know 440's didn't appear naturally in Chargers until 67, but my first (and only other Charger) was a 67 440 Magnum, so I am reliving that dream in this one a couple decades later.

The parts-in-boxes sorting is all done, almost all wire harnesses have been replaced, and nearly all missing parts have arrived, so I have some puttin' together to get to!

Glad to have found you all. Hope to be in touch soon with some progress pics.

I too looked for an original 67 440 car and decided to just build me a 66 440 car cuz I'd hop it up anyway (500 plus cubes and trick flow heads etc)
