Anyone know of a newer style master cylinder/power booster combo that will bolt on to my 73 Charger? I am referring to the newer style master cylinder with plastic reservoir and two mounting holes instead of four. I was thinking maybe a Fifth Avenue, or pickup? anyone done it?

The one from my 87 5th Ave looks like it will work in my 73.
I didn't actually hook it up because the pivot shaft connection is difficult as hell, but I had it about as close as you can get it.

Yeh, A two bolt m/c is $25 new, down the street, and $5 at the junkyard.
A 4 bolt is $50 from RockAuto, plus shipping, and that's the cheapest place.

I had the booster studs through the firewall, and those were fine, as was the clearance of the booster in the engine compartment. The m/c was almost exactly the same as the MP "conversion" m/c I got for my 66.

The pivot rod (pedal) had a slightly different method of attaching to the m/c (booster) rod, but it looked like it would work, maybe with very minor tweaking. IIRC, one had a cotter pin and spring washers and the other had spring washers with clips made on.

I will probably pick up the m/c and booster on my next junkyard trip, they are pretty common around here. Thanks for the advice, YY1
