You can do your Daytona clone in Nascar trim.I do have a lot of old school NASCAR Specific items to do this style build to one of my Chargers possibly someday. Back when racing was racing.....
Yep, i have started. I have made aluminum rear window straps, aluminum door handle and key hole opening covers, aluminum rear bumper to body filler pieces, polished aluminum A pillar covers, inner trunk wing supports. I have a Vega rear hatch assembly for the rear window conversion & old style kidney bean steel wheels and slicks. I just need all of the expensive stuff.... the wing, fender scoops and nose cone and all related parts to make headlight doors functional for street use.You can do your Daytona clone in Nascar trim.
Very cool, that was the plan with the Daytona stock car I had but I decided that driving around a car that was two inches off the ground probably wasn't going to go well. The suspension is hanging in the pictures, compressed with the weight of the car on it it was low.Yep, i have started. It seems most everyone gets to that point in their life eventually. Sometimes you have to do what is best for you. I still enjoy building them and tinkering on the cars that are finished. I hope to have H.C. or Super Stock or Challenger Demon one of these days for an everyday fair weather driver also.I'm done building cars. So many I didn't ever get to do. Everything is too difficult or stupidly priced, anymore. Plus, my Hellcat is more fun... with a warranty.
Time to sell cars!!!
I done my 72 in new SRT B5 & Added 5% Frostbite to darken it a little oh & a 6.4 Hemi & 8 HP70
True. I hate Go wings or Gull wings on B or E bodies, as well as spoilers on 68-70 Mustangs, Torinos, Cyclones, Cougars, 442's and GTO's. However, a wing car is my ultimate dream car. I know, weird, huh?It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got a wing.

I would be thinking seriously about this car, with a Hemi, and a 4spd...
Personal preference, enjoyment of physical interaction, and these days, an "anti-theft" option for a lot of people !!!I can absolutely understand the Hemi part but as someone who grew up in germany during a time where almost everyone had a manual transmission car i cannot really understand why manual transmission cars are more desirable.
Yes if you treat the car as a toy it might be nice but if you want to use it as a daily driver in traffic it just sucks.
I just bought a 90 ZR-1 corvette with a 6 speed manual.
If you could have had an automatic from the factory i would have definitely gotten an automatic car instead.
I was even thinking about a callaway b2k with the aerobody because that car does exist with an automatic but i'm worried about that bi-turbo L98 in regards of sustained high speed driving on the autobahn.
