No Dash lights - 68 RR - Need diagnosis help

Sorry guys for not updating. I got sick of the gauges and moved to converting the drums to discs all around. Just wrapped it up. Also replaced the throttle body gaskets in the six pack. Also replaced pinion bearing. List is endless. After I put in the tires, I noticed Shocks are bad (I think) which may be next project on list. I have a weird scalloping on inside of tires. May just be bad alignment.

Dash lights still don't work. Fuses all good. Dimmer switch was rebuilt and bench tested okay. Circuit board replaced with brand new digital USA built version. All new bulbs and sockets. I'm driving without dash lights now but will revisit later. I'm tired of looking at it and just need a break from it. May revisit after summer.

Haven't read through all the posts but you traced the orange wire from the fuse box to the splice point and then to the connector on the cluster circuit board? If the fuse is good and you have power there you should be getting 12vdc on the #1 terminal of the clusters connector. Other side of the fuse is a tan wire which feeds the dimmer switch. Are these there and have power?

So it seems like a bad ground. The speedometer will rarely sweep up. Tach will work occasionally.
