I have a 1969 Coronet and I currently do not have parking lights, instrument panel lights, shift indicator lights, light buzzer or flashers. I do have headlights, turn signals and brake lights, which is fine for day time driving. It has not really been an issue because I never drive it at night, until lately. I sold my daily driver and I have to drive this to work. I have checked wires and connections but they all look good, at least I did not see anything broken or fried. I think it is either a bad panel light switch or maybe another wire somewhere. I’m about to order a new switch but wanted to get some feedback before I ordered it.

I forgot to mention I changed out the fuse on the fuse box for the instrument lights, and tested it with a test light but the test light did not light up. So it’s not getting power??

Power to that fuse comes from the headlight switch if I'm not mistaken.

The power "in" for your parking lamps, dash lights, and tail lights is the pink wire on the rear of your headlight switch (B2 terminal). You should have power there at all times. If no power there go to your fuse box and see if you have power to either side of the fuse. My diagram says pink wire on one side, red wire on the other. The red side should have power at all times, then power travels through the fuse, then through your harness directly to the back of the headlight switch (pink wire, B2 terminal). I hope this helps

The fuse gets power when the parking lamps or head lamps are switched on.

I just went through this with my 69 Coronet today. Former owner fabricated a dash of aftermarket junk gauges..and no speedo. I reinstalled the original cluster but upgraded to green LEDs....I didnt plan it but they are even dimmable.
