No More Chevy Engine Bay

Well after 5 years I've finally painted my black engine bay body color.
Took a long time preparing, especially masking everything but it was worth it.
It's come out pretty good, a few minor defects and I've probably painted a few things that were meant to be black but I'm very happy!

Nice job! That's one of my "wish-I-could-do-over" items. That and yanking the dash and redoing the instrument cluster before putting the new windshield in.

Yup....looks great! Ford painted their engine bays black too. At least they did on the 1st gen Mudstains.

Wonder why?? Almost seems like more trouble when you're building them new at the factory.

thats the way we did it years ago left motor in and wraped it in plastic .
