I have a 72 Charger SE 400 with an electronic ignition. I don't seem to be getting any spark, and I'm also not getting any power inside the car(nothing inside seems to be getting any power, and nothing happens when I turn the key to accessory or try to start it). I can only crank the engine from the solenoid. I am not very good with this electrical stuff at all!

I've replaced the electronic ignition module, coil(with internal resistor), coil condenser, distributor cap and rotor, and the spark plugs and wires.

(Problem 1 of 2: Pictures 1-3)
The car didn't have a ballast resistor hooked up when I bought it, but there was one in it's box sitting in the car, and it appears to be a used resistor. The only wires I could find that could possibly be for the resistor are the ones in the pictures, but Idk if they are. I don't believe I need the resistor with the module and coil I'm running, but as far as I know, if I don't run the resistor then I at least need to connect some of the resistor wires together in order for everything to work? I don't know which ones though. I don't know if this is causing the no spark issue or not?

(Problem 2: Picture 4)
The black wire in the ignition switch is burned through the connectors as shown in the pictures. This will be fixed this week. I'm assuming this is what is causing the no power situation, as well as not being able to crank the engine from inside. I'm wondering if in these electronic ignition cars, does the key have to be turned in order for the coil and stuff to get power in order to get spark, even if I'm cranking it from the solenoid? So basically, could the ignition switch be causing the no spark problem?

Like I said, I'm really not very knowledgeable about this electrical stuff lol!

I know this is long, but I hope I explained everything well enough haha! Any help would be great, thanks!
