Not a B Body but is this a pilot car? 67 Polara 500 VIN # 12

My buddy has this highly loaded 67 Polara 500 he just picked up and when we were looking at today noticed vin and fender tag. Super low vin and data tag options are hand stamped. Seats long gone so no build sheet. He offered it to my today for what I think is a good price as a builder but is it worth bringing back or just a cool background?

I don't know anything about it but it's a cool looking car and if you like it it's worth fixing.people pay big bucks for conv cars I payed up for a rusty 64 Newport conv $3200, and it's rough . But hard to get ,you might want to see how many were made it might be rare just with the build number s good luck with it
