Ok, what's missing

It is on the first reply with the ebay link I made, but pricey because is the full reinforcement assembly... upper, lower and grilles brackets. You could get it and sell the parts you won't use... maybe. Or just wait. Pretty sure 71/74 are all the same one.

Did you get everything you need yet? I'm faiefa certain I have that bar thing in the last post eBay link and I believe I have a front bumper from my 72 that I took off had the reg grilles in it I switched to hideaway pm me if you need stuff still I'll check my pile

that's the trick! Not everyone uses same words. Thats how my NOS quarter panel was found on ebay in $250, because nobody found it with the regular keywords.

Sometimes even searching by PN get success. Thats how I found the NOS rear speaker on ebay. Was listed as front speaker truck, but casuality is the same one than rear B and E bodies. It was weird get a cheap part from Nos_Bill ( BradsNosParts ) on ebay LOL just because wasn't listed like that, but trucks.

I didn't continue searching bumper parts last night because was already on bed and posting from my iPad... wanted to sleep LOL

as mentioned, should be the same one than 71/72. Maybe diagonal braces too

quoting myself to confirm the info... 71 Parts catalog and my 74 parts catalog doesn't share same PNs for these. Neither the diagonals or the lower bar. Diagonal ones are listed in fact on 70/71 catalog as left and right pieces. Could still both work thought but dunno the differences. I know 73/74 bumper assemblies use to be heavier than earliers... maybe thickness... or the provision for bumper guards being some diff due the diff bumper guards... can't tell

I will compare the ebay pic of the lower reinforcement to the one on my 72.

Paul! You are right! Hideaways setup didn't get the lower bar reinforcement. My bad! I got what we call down here a "lapsus mentis" LOL

Yes,but that lower bar is way diff than the one you need which attaches to bumper itself just right before the bumper brackets

My bad! I have dealt with this assembly once back in 2008 and just got my memory back from that day!

The lower bar on my 72 is just bolted between the bumper mounting brackets, nothing bolts to it. The grille support brackets have smaller individual brackets bolting it to the lower part of the bumper.

The upper one on my 72 is different as well. On the passenger side of the 72 there is a mounting hole that the 73 bar does not have.

Looking at the diagram it pretty much looks like the left one. So I would say yes, the left one. It looks very much like the one in ODZKing pictures too. Thanks for that ODZKing.

Yes, left one... right one seems to be rear bumper!

But you meant did it came out from a 73/74 or 71/72 ?

Just curiosity, check for stamped PN... this stamped PN from the full assembly I posted on my first reply meets my 74 catalog

The 71 catalog DOESN'T SHOW a lower reinforcement!!! not even if regular grilles ? aside the bar between Y brackets which is there

Am I crazy then ? I thought that was just for Hideaways ?

yeah well could be diff but must be interchangeable anyway... in case of emergency

Paul, I mat have those pads/reinforcements. They'd be rusty but I though I had an extra set.
