old dirt bike memories

Yes Penton did become KTM. A man from Mason City Iowa was one of the people that convinced John Penton to export bikes to the USA.
I have a 250 Red Rocket. I raced it in a few vintage races.

I have always had a mini bike, dirt bike, quads etc since I was a kid. Still have 5 quads today that my kids grew up on. Now my grand kids are getting to the ages to learn to ride also.
First pic is my youngest son on the 50. The 3rd one is my youngest grown. The last pic is my oldest Son teaching my grandson (just idling around the backyard, it was his first time on it).

I’m looking for the 6 cylinder Honda, I don’t know the series it was called. My friend owned one back around 1980.

I hit a Good score this week. I found a bike I've been looking for, for quite some time. As an added bonus, He had another bike that I wasn't looking for, but POW !!! Now I just need to get these back Home. Anyone shipped bikes before ? Any Info/Help appreciated, Thanks...

That CR brings back memories!

Awesome. That is what I learned to ride on as a kid. But a copper colored trail 70. I would like to get another one in blue such as yours for a pit bike, but not at today's prices.
I did get it running....it turned out ok I think

It's spring time and I had to get them out once again. My favorite bikes. 1984 Husquvarna WR 250 and the awesome 1982 Maico 490. At 67 years old I still enjoy the now and again romp. The 250 is a sweet trail machine and the Maico, well I think it is possessed with a ornery spirit! Kocan
