I remember this amazing house fondly from earliest visits to my mothers' side of the family.
My grandfather (her father - "Pawpaw" as we knew him) built that home himself, along with
a lot of the other outbuildings on his large farm back in the 1930's (the barn still stands to this day).

Mamaw and Papaw in the 1930's, family already well in gear with children, three of which would go on
to serve in WW2.

Us three boys in 1970 with Pawpaw (that's my smug arse behind him).
Mamaw passed in 1970; when he passed in 1976 at age 86, he had almost
20 grandchildren already - and he worked at something every day of his life.

1957.
My Mom, Dad, brother and me on a ship leaving Germany headed for Canada. The journey end in Missouri. It was the ships late voyage, it was sent to be scrapped in Canada.

My birth mother’s parents. They met in the 1920s in Philadelphia. Pum Koo Park was attending medical school, while Ada Yang was completing a masters degree after graduating from college with a dual degree in biology and political science. First generation Americans, their parents had fled Korea after the Japanese occupation in the 1800s.

My wife’s dad’s first patrol car, think it’s a 1953 Ford, next to his dad’s 39 Ford and we think, her dad's personal car.
