Old motorcycles

wasn`t that on cable chasing cars episode:eusa_think:

A large collection of classic motorcycles was recently autioned off on the Mecum show.

Some were surprisingly affordable.

Augusta's were the ones on Mecum 1 of every year of them, including race bikes, all as one lot, I don't know what it sold for though, there was a Chasing Classic Cars episode that had a bunch of cool old bikes, I don't know crap about any of them before 47 or so & very little at that point either, I've had a few rice rockets & 47 45ci Indian Chief, my step father had, had a quite a few dirt bikes, quads, 3 wheelers, mostly Kawi's KX's & Yamahas Y/Z Y/T's & I/T's, a couple of Hodoka's Combat Wombat's & Ace's, Bull Taco's 250cc & 360cc, Huskies, CZ's back in the 70's & early 80's & street bikes Like Kawi's 500-750-1000cc, Honda 750cc Sabers & Shadows, Yamaha 80's V-Max's {what freaken rocket ships} Daytona RZ 350cc 2 stroke, 79 Harley AMF Electriglide.... No photo's though..

Most exotic I ever had was a Kaw 440 LTD in really nice shape, and a Virago 750, with all it's odd "advanced" engineering.

I sure would have liked to have had that 1050 six cyl Honda CBX.
It went pretty cheap. I almost bought one back in the 90's.

I had a buddy, Rod Banna who had a Honda CBX back in the day, big & ugly compared to some of the bikes, but very fast & very cool bikes....
