the strobe top stripe, or be solid?

Are the 73 and 74 stripe kits the same except for that?

Well, Here's a pic of my buddies early 74, Dec buld date, survivor RR with 6200 miles. Yes, that's correct and not a typo 6200! It has it's org strobe. He tells me that the strobes were used for a while and were more common that the solid. He also had another RR he bought new in April of 74 and he said it had the strobe, but we don't know the build date of that car as it's no longer around. Strobe is the only difference from what I was told.

mine was manufactured in november of 73,
so when I finally get around to painting it I will get the 73 strobe top kit from phoenix graphix instead of the 74 kit.

there is no hood difference either, right?
 
No, none that I know of
Here's the hood of both his 74's. Silver car is a org survivor and the blue 74 is his everyday driver that we did about 6 yrs ago, it was a silver and red car also, but went with the 73 GB5 blue in and out.
