Opinions on cam driveability; anyone running a 704 Lunati, Comp XE285HL, Howards 721201-08 or Hughes 3642-08 or similar?

Stock... not that there's anything wrong with that....
I will be 80 on next bday...have worked on Mopars and Chev for 50 yrs. I was in the bearing industry for ever and never forget a trip to Sumitomo yrs ago. They had all the bearings locked up...I asked why and was told they could not manufacture good steel. I understand most hydraulic lifters are now from China and the steel is still bad....

I'm still researching a similar build for a 69 GTX super track 4bbl, possible 3x2, also considering Crane's six-pack verson,

Good midrange to upper RPM torque and HP, rough idle, performance usage, mild bracket racing, auto trans w/3000+converter, 3800-4200cruise RPM, modern upgrade from factory Six-Pack camshaft, 10.0to11.5 compression ratio advised.
