Looking for good options for music in my car. However, it's a mostly, survivor car and I don't want to cutout for speakers. Just need a decent sounding blue tooth option. I have a small cheapie b/t speaker, but would like something less "tinny" sounding.
I have the same situation due to it being a radio delete car. I just picked up a quality blue tooth speaker and it sounds fine....
There’s several places that will place a modern stereo in your old radio body. I had mine done by a guy in B.C. Looks stock, 200 watts.
Buy 2 quality Bluetooth speakers and sync them together for stereo. JBL Flip 3 or Flip 4 or a pair the the Ultimate Ears (UE). DeWalt Jobsite Bluetooth speaker is $90 without a battery if you already have a DeWalt power tool battery.
I'm in Victoria BC. Remember who did your radio? I have the original stock but I want to have it redone for Bluetooth. Kevin
I had my stock 71 road runner radio converted to blue tooth and it works well. Check out this site, prices around $550. http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm
I’ll see if I can find the invoice. I found him on google, he’s just out side Vancouver. Love your city. Was a struggling rock star there in the early eighties. Pre covid we liked to go there once a year. We stay at Laurel Point, tea at the Empress. There used to be a Darth Vader playing violin downtown. Coolest thing ever.
Lol, I know the Darth Vader you are talking about. He stopped after some punks layed the boys to him for no reason.... Laurel point is a nice spot! Hopefully you'll get back to your yearly visits soon! Kevin
