Original or Restomod

Welcome from Michigan, I like Chargers and Farmers. Personally I prefer original cars more but moded cars are cool too. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Welcome aboard. I'm also restoring a 69 Charger. Mine is not numbers matching, but if it were I'd start original and maybe put some more modern parts later. I'll be following to look for pics. Good luck.

Welcome to FBBO.

Welcome from Lombard Il! I have a few friends out there in DeKalb...one owns a pork slaughterhouse just east of town at 38 and peace rd.

I would say do it how you want, but keep it stock enough where it could be put back easily if you do decide to sell it.

Looks like you got a pretty solid car, numbers match, big-block, and a special edition white-hat; to me, that all adds up to an original resto. If it were a shell, no drivetrain, major metal replacement... then.. I could possibly go resto-mod. Just my $.02 (And we're both old enough to know when 2 pennies actually bought you something, like 2 Bazooka bubble-gums)

To me a car should be built exactly the way you want it and forget value unless it's super rare or the goal is to sell it.

I just finished my 69 Charger a couple years ago (protouring style) and have never looked back except at the poor imports that challenged it lol.

Welcome aboard.
