One of the biggest problem with old cars, even after rebuilding the engine is rust flaking from the block & plugging up your nice new radiator!!! ASK ME HOW I KNOW, this solved anything from plugging my radiator. http://www.ganofilters.com/index.html
^ This.
we just redid a 383 and i knocked out the freeze plug in the rear-side and then flushed the block, first one way then reversed.
got at Least a pound of sand/mud/rust out of it.
couple of my friends were aghast at this,as they have great looking motors that have never been flushed.
they had no idea this is in theirs too.
far as radiators, just got a champion 3 row alum drop in for a charger, cost was 170 and it literally dropped in and everything/fittings/factory went right in.
part number was CC289b
hope this helps.
