My car is newly painted but the interior door was never done. The interior is black and I've been told gloss black is the shade to use. Now i wanted to install the glass but was concerned about installing that glass wiper part (cat whiskers) the trim part that is up against the glass but a forum member who is a good friend said leave it off and just adjust the glass down more to install it after the painting
Now i seem to have the same problem with the vent window. Its as if all i need is the top of the door just edged and that would solve my issue till the car goes to the painter
So my question is does anyone think i can do a good enough job with a spray can. Should i use that paint can with the catalyst inside? Should i clear it when its done. It would really help if i could paint it as then i could install everything and put the door weatherstripping on-----------------Thanks

Steve,
Use the spray can with catalyst in it. The general spray cans most likely will not be compatible with the automotive paint
