B Body owners, I have a dilemma with a heater/ac box I just got for a ‘66 Coronet. I picked it up used, for a Coronet that had been gutted years ago. The box will fit up perfect…. But on the right side (passenger), there is a short, large-diameter hose that is supposed to connect to a fresh air inlet box. I have no inlet assembly on that side. I do on the drivers side. I cannot find one for the passenger side. It is all I need to move forward. The original FSA is useless in this case. I have a complete copy, exact year. The only description or pics are for the “Dart” type. Not sure why they share a service manual, but that’s what is in there. Anybody know where I can find what I need? There are plenty of drivers side inlets out there. Just nothing for the passenger.

The passenger’s side vent is built into the heater box. Does your heater box look like this?

What years does that fit? I sold the AC box from my 66 many years ago and don't remember exactly what it looked like....
Supposedly 65-67? I may be short on that, but that was my understanding. It does fit the ‘66. I just have nothing to hook the inlet hose to on the end.

Yes for 66-70 the A/C box uses a flexible inlet hose. It bolts to the underside of the cowl, curves 90 degrees toward the center of car. It should have a metal flange on the end that bolts to the side of the box. Picture from 1969 Dodge service manual.

Heater only is pictured above.

1965 is totally different.

Ah! Looks like the solution! What I have is a portion of that hose then, and nothing to connect it to under the cowl. That piece is gone too. I’m looking for those pieces, but haven’t seen anything yet. Any known links would be appreciated.

Wouldn't hurt to post a WTB ad either. There's always someone browsing those ads. Heck, I do too at times.
