Just a little tidbit, an encounter with Petty's jet at Greensboro, NC.
I was there listening on an aircraft radio and watching a medium size business jet moving along the taxiway. Petty Enterprises logo on the tail. The tower was giving instructions to "Petty 43". For those that are not acquainted with airplanes, that is a custom call sign. U.S. registered private aircraft are addressed as "November.....".
Anyway, I thought that was neat. Then the tower said, "long live the King".
To which the pilot replied, "yep, long live the king."
