Yep, I love a warm night cruise. Window down, 8 track playing, soft warm glow of the gauges, it just puts all the bullshit in life on hold, and transports you to a happy place.

Walking to the gas station with a gallon container was something I did more than a few times when the gas guage was broken in my 383 4 speed 70 Challenger R/T.

Idk, but I’d build one, I think it’s pretty cool looking
 
If I could find a local and cost effective full setup, I might reconsider saving my 72 SE that needs a roof (and a lot more).

I understand the 75-79 C pillar forward is "real similar" to 71-74.
 
40 years ago, when I went out at night in my GTX, if I was at 1/4 tank, the first place I went was to the gas station.
