My first Mopar - my dad's '55 Dodge Crusader. Nosed, decked, flat tail light lenses and driveway paint job all done by yours truly. Swapped out the old flathead six for a same year Poly after blowing 3 of the old flatheads. Those were the days - bought a donor car for $10 bucks, took all the parts from it, used the Poly for a core for a fresh rebuild ( I think the rebuild was about $350.). Added duals with Walker coninentals mufflers, a Foxcraft floor shift, moon gas pedal and an Airguide Tach & I was good to go. Followed this one with a '64 Polara H/T, 313 poly, then the '68 Runner followed by a '68 GTX.Now I'm loving my '66 Coronet 500!

Oh, almost forgot. Those are reversed Ford rims painted silver. Dodge rims were welded, the Fords were riveted. Local guy reversed them for $10 per wheel!
 
My Father-in-Law's Hemi Coronet R/T back in the day (1969) towing his handmade boat to and from Lake Almanor, California. Honored to be the next caretaker of this Unrestored Survivor.
