Opposites here in Oklahoma. We had one of the driest Marches. We finally got a good down pour last week.

I got out of my car today and as I stood up and turned around there was a HUGE German shepherd in the back of a crew cab. We were nose to nose and he curled up one side of his mouth and gave me a very deep rumble. I backed away carefully.

brown AND yellow...lol. I'm not scared of dogs, as a rule, but that one gave me pause....oh, and there was zero tail wagging going on too...

When I was 20 years old was delivering dry cleaning had a customer say come in. Well I step inside a couple of steps and stopped dead. The two large German shepherds got up as soon as I stopped. I watched as one looked at me while the other circled around to be in back of me, gulp. Customer paid me and I was glad to get out of there.
Another time a collie, not Lassie came out of some bushes and I was half way to the house to drop off a bundle of shirts under my arm. No way was I going to run so he comes at me, I side step him and grab the back of his neck. He bit me on the side and nipped my forearm. I twisted his neck and cocked my foot to kick him in the throat. Then I hear did he bite you? Dam right! Well he has his shots sure made me feel better, not.
A Doberman backed me 40 feet out of a driveway to the delivery van, again never turn and run from a dog!
