I must be getting old when I remember meetings like this could happen!

We cruised State Street dock in Erie, PA on Friday and Sat nights. It went about 3 miles straight through town and then down hill to the dock on Lake Erie where you drove slowly out onto the dock and looped back to do it again. Burger places open music blaring, lots of girls and hot cars. Or took Peninsula Drive way out along the shore and back. Good times back in the 60-70's.

In Victoria BC here in late 60's it was from Whitespot down past A&W into downtown and up 3 Lane one way light to light. Tire smoke floating in air!!

Oh yes, lots 'o that too. The police would stage themselves at each end and a couple cruising along with the rods. They basically ignored everything other than some idiot showing his *** recklessly.
