The 440 in my car was rebuilt by a previous owner. I assume it is a low compression rebuild based on driving experience. It runs well but is pretty tame. I have the oil pan off waitning on a rear main seal I ordered. I took a few photos and found I have pistons with casting numbers inside the skirt of 3671217. I searched Google and found a link to Silvolite Pistons on Beck Racing's website. There I found the piston listed on a table and took a snapshot.

And on another site I found this table

Since I know very little about about pistons, would one of you enlighten me on what I actually have in the car? I'm looking for some idea of what to expect as far as compression ratio.

Thanks FBBO.

That compression height knock the compression in the dirt a bit. Deck, headgasket chamber etc all dictate compression but with that compression height it is difficult to build compression and quench
