Hi all,
I'm rebuilding a 318 poly and noticed that none of the four thrust plate bolts have a hole for oil. There is a small galley going from the lifter valley to the right front bolt (viewed from the front) but the bolt is solid. Is that the way these are supposed to be? From the pics I've seen online, the LA engines used the same plate, but had a hole in one bolt. I can't figure out how the timing set would get lubricated otherwise.
