66 plymouth belvedere 440 with ac blower motor works but not strong do they make a stronger blower motor that can be installed or any tricks to get it to blow stronger
thanks

That was one of the problems with the old A/C's on Mopars across the board. Cold but no air volume. Can't really do anything. No faster motors or more efficient fans in the stock replacement size. Aftermarket A/C's shine in this area.

Add a relay to the high blower circuit, you won't believe the difference....

Relays confuse you? want a shortcut to see if it's worth pursuing? Disconnect the power wire going to the blower motor, it's in the engine compartment about 3" from the blower motor... Hook a lead straight to the battery & then connect it to the blower motor... How much air flow do you have now? Well thats what a relay does...

Your fan may be going bad, too. It might only need the guts cleaned and lubed.
There might also be dead leaves blocking airflow.

Maybe a bigger crank pulley...

Did that once and the blower motor got so hot the paint blistered.

What are you comparing the "poor performance" to? The blower cages on these are quite small and don't have much force. Now, I haven't had a in dash a/c blower out. The under dash units are usually a dual squirrel cage and really have a lot of output. The last heater case I took apart had a nearly plugged heater core and the case was half full of debris and a mouse nest.
