Power Seats?

Hi I'm new here and this is a great site!

I bought a 70 super track pack roadrunner about 12 years ago and put it in storage for a future restoration.
I'm starting to go through it now and noticed the front seats have a electrical motor and what looks like pulleys.

Does anyone know what this is? did these cars come with power seats?

Wiki RR page says power seats were discontinued in 1972, dunno about '70. That would be sweet if they worked or are repairable! This site doesn't list a power seats option for '70 though:

Thanks Ghost, I need to take pics of the motor, seats and post them. It possible they swapped the seat but it's unlikely.

Good to know. I wonder how often anyone tried putting in powerseats into their older Mopars. Could be kinda cool I guess.

6 way power seat track from a 5th Ave is a direct bolt in.

...but if you want the passenger seat power, you need to use another driver's side track setup.
