Can anyone out there tell me how much power steering fluid does my 73 Plymouth satellite sebring hold thanks in advance everyone :canada:

Unless they changed a lot in three years...the 1970 service manual says the capacity of the hydraulic system is four pints (3 ¾ Imperial pints)

The power steering is hydraulic. The pump, lines and steering box are the system. If you are completely drained, this is the amount of fluid to refill.

Ok my friend thanks for the information. Reason l mention this subject is my car has been in storage since last October ( l only bought it in September last year) l noticed I had a bit of a leak from my steering box so the owner of the storage facility gave me a big piece of cardboard to put underneath the engine etc. Plus l already had a piece of my own with me so l put both of them underneath the front end.Yesterday he msgd me saying I'd better take some "fluids"with me when l go to pick my car up and said there was quite a bit of fluids under the car and he was going to send me a picture later on which I'm enclosing here hopefully it's just power steering fluid. I'll find out for sure when l go to pick up my car next weekend. I'll keep you guys posted lm gonna be taking power steering fluid-oil and some tranny fluid with me! wish me luck

I am probably a little late, but for future reference and according to the owners manual, it takes 2.5 pints. The reservoir should be filled to 1/2 to 1 inch below the top of the filler neck if you don't have a dip stick.
