I recently converted my 66 Satellite to power steering using a reman pump and steering box and a new pitman arm.
Every thing went in fine , no leaks no binding.
The steering now is super responsive compared to the old manual setup, you can know steer it do the road with two fingers and it shows no sign of valve spool issues which freaked out so many Mopar drivers.
The question I have is: After you turn the steering wheel should it return to center on it's own like a modern day rig?
I know this is also a function of caster in the front end alingment. Can I dial in more caster to assist the steering to self return to center?
Any pro comments would be greatly appreciated.
