I have them in 3 of my 5 cars. That said know that there are 2 versions of the 80s version (the one in the pic with the black plastic). One version is for I believe Imperials and the like whereas the other is for like the 5th Ave, maybe New Yorker. The difference is in the area where the latch (bar) sits down into. On the Imperial one this area is significantly larger as I think those cars used a much thicker latch. The other one takes the same latch as an A, B or E body.

I know this because I bought a set of eBay and installed it on my 71 Charger, the trunk would latch but was very loose and I could not adjust the latch enough to get the trunk lid to sit correctly. After I took the time to inspect things I realized I had the wrong latch and eventually found the correct one. I still have the Imperial one in case someone needs one.

I may be interested in the Imperial one. I assume the mounting holes could be slotted a bit to close all the way. Got a pic of it?
