[ring and pinion]

I have 2 pp833 bbody transmissions one is a 23 spline the other is a 18 spline. I would like to know what cars thy came from . Vin # on 18 spline is 9A298948 . The 23 spline is 8G157207. Anyone know it would be appropriated. Thanks

The 18 spline unit very well may be from a 1969 A12 roadrunner, it fits that vin range. If the 23 spline is a B body unit , it could be from any 1968 383 B body application built at St. louis Assembly plant. An example would be a 68 383 RR, most likely to early for a 68 superbee.
